Billy’s Team at OnQ Financial:
Communication was excellent. My loan was definitely not cookie cutter, and Billy’s team took the time to help me properly document all my finance’s unusual features. This took talent, care, interest, persistence, and kindness. Through dint of Billy’s team’s effort, I was able to qualify for a conforming loan in spite of the challenges, saving me over $4,000 in closing costs.

Where to begin? There was lack of communication and lack of professionalism almost every step of the way. From wanting me to communicate with my home insurance company (which in my experience lenders usually do, but the staff member didn’t have her log in info in order), not explaining or even mentioning when the type of loan being offered changed (FHA to conventional), to not communicating in a timely manner when crucial documents were missing, to trying to change the time of closing an hour (!) before it was supposed to happen, going to the closing attorney’s and zero documents from the lender being ready…I mean I don’t know how much worse it could be. Closing did eventually happen but only because it would’ve taken me longer and more dings to my credit to go elsewhere by that point and time. Honestly, the communication was horrendous, but beyond that, inconveniencing and treating the customer like they just have to live with whatever the lender does because the lender knows they kind of have them in a vice grip…it doesn’t feel good. They still got their money though which clearly was all that mattered.
